KENT STATE

In my baseball career I have learned from some of the best in the business. As I reflect, it started early in my career with playing under former Major leaguer Jeff Duncan alongside former big leaguer Mike Birkbeck, Birkbeck played 14 years playing professionally.  His last 10 seasons were spent at the AAA or major league level.  He also spent parts of two seasons playing in the Japanese major leagues with the Yokohama Baystars in Yokohama, Japan. Listing all their accolades would be entirely too long as they both had very successful careers.

LIPSCOMB

 Alongside these great coaches I got to pitch under Grayson Crawford at Lipscomb University who is now a MILB coach for the New York Yankees. My head coach was Jeff Forehand who is on his 16th tour of being the Bison head coach. 

AUBURN

 At Auburn I had the pleasure of having MLB All-Star and future Hall of Famer Tim Hudson as my pitching coach alongside SEC great Butch Thompson. The experience between these two is unmatchable and something I took great pride in being a part of. 

EVERYWHERE IN BETWEEN 

On my journey I have also had the opportunity to play for SEC great Ron Polk in the prestigious Cape Cod baseball league. He was a long-time head baseball coach at Mississippi State and is considered to be the "Father of Southeastern Conference Baseball. Polk compiled one of the most successful winning records, as a coach, in both MSU and Southeastern Conference history His teams won five SEC championships and five SEC tournament championships. His teams participated in the NCAA tournament twenty-three times, and reached the College World Series eight times.
